Briefing on the Commanding Heights of Global Transportation Initiative and the Ambassador Alfred Hoffman, Jr. Center for Critical Minerals Strategy

On September 30, SAFE hosted a briefing to discuss the organization’s strategy to ensure U.S competitiveness with China on electric vehicles, semiconductors, minerals, and supply chains.

Robbie Diamond, SAFE President & CEO, moderated the conversation between members of the SAFE leadership team, highlighting the Commanding Heights Initiative and the Ambassador Alfred Hoffman, Jr. Center for Critical Minerals Strategy and how these developing entities fit in to SAFE’s overarching goals.

Joining the discussion were SAFE Chairman Admiral Dennis C. Blair, former Director of National Intelligence and Commander in Chief of the Pacific Command, Dr. Jeb Nadaner, Executive Vice President of Government & Public Affairs and the Commanding Heights Initiative, and Abigail Wulf, Director, the Ambassador Alfred Hoffman, Jr. Center for Critical Minerals Strategy. Dialogue flowed around the geopolitical consequences if the US and our allies and friends are dependent upon China for the raw materials and components that power our transportation and military systems.
