
Abigail Hunter, executive director of SAFE’s Center for Critical Minerals Strategy, applauded the administration for seeking feedback to tough questions and working with allies. The effort’s success, she said, will hinge on other manufacturing economics instituting policies to ensure competitiveness.
“Given how quickly this administration has been inclined to move, it seems like this is a pretty good opportunity to solicit information and generate a more holistic policy, which is absolutely needed because this is complicated,” said Hunter.
