Up to $175,000 in prize money will be awarded.

Tracking Our Progress:

SAFE and Roubini Global Economics (RGE) will unveil an important new economic indicator leading up to the National Summit. The “Oil Security Index” will measure America’s exposure to the global oil market and its capability to respond to disruptions in oil supply. The index will be comprised of key data including expenditures on oil, the stability of import sources, domestic production, and the size of strategic reserves. It will be released quarterly following its introduction.
