Margaret is an international security and development professional with over 10 years of extensive experience in working with the state agencies, international organizations and education/research institutions in Europe, Middle East and USA. Throughout her career she has elaborated evidence-based countermeasures addressing the critical security policies, energy policy and human rights issues in conflict-affected regions. Most recently, as a UN Project Analyst she was mandated to map and oversee the development phases of Georgia’s National Action Plan on the implementation of UN Security Council Resolutions on Women, Peace and Security.
She has executed multiple large-scale initiatives including a Project Management College – established by BP on behalf of its Oil and Gas Co-venturers. At CFA (Boston based alternative investment advisory group) she is managing an impact investing portfolio – identifying investment opportunities with the national security, development and social impact considerations in the select frontier markets: Caucasus & Black Sea Region.
