Associate, Booz Allen Hamilton
Dipankar Sahoo is an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. In this role, he supports Department of Energy’s (DOE) Advanced Research Project Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). Previously, he worked in Combustion Research Facility at DOE’s Sandia National Laboratory focusing on advanced combustion strategies in Internal Combustion Engines to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Post Sandia, he worked as a research engineer at a clean energy start-up company. Most recently, he worked as a Sr. Global Product Manager at Tenneco Inc., an American Fortune 500 company that produces emissions and ride control products in the automotive space. In this role, he was responsible for light vehicle product line across the globe.
He has a PhD and MBA from Texas A&M University and University of Michigan, respectively. He has authored/co-authored more than 40 technical papers. He serves as a reviewer for various journals and conference proceedings. He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and an invited member of the National Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi.
