Program Analyst, Environmental Protection Agency
Caleb Smith is an analyst in the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget office. There he assists in formulating the Agency’s funding and programs, justifying it to Congress and the executive branch, gathering and reviewing data on how the Agency allocates its funds, and communicating legislative directives and requirements to the Agency. Previously, he has been a part of the communications team at the policy bureau in the US Agency for International Development where he and his team facilitated internal and stakeholder communication around USAID priorities and publicly promoted the Agency’s efforts to end extreme poverty. He has also worked in other roles in policy, communications, personnel, and international development. A Massachusetts native, he graduated from Brandeis University with degrees in Economics and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.
